Ted has been a wonderful model of a priest who came to serve and not to be served. His commitment to the poor of the land has been inspirational. I have appreciated being part of the community at Redfern. It is a wonderful example of priest and people coming together to worship the God who lives in the heart of each one with the freedom of the children of this same God.

All have been inspired by Ted's leadership which has been a leadership from within, from being a part of the group and not apart nor above.

May there be others like him to continue to serve the people of God in love and freedom.
