Father Ted Kennedy has been one of our greats. He is a man of profound goodness, intellect and erudition. For over 30 years, he has used these very considerable attributes in the advancement of our struggle.

He has done so much for us and always with great passion and humility. It was his initiative in 1975 that enabled the Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) to use the former St Vincent’s Parish school buildings as the premises from which we have continued to operate ever since. More recently, he has been integral in our campaign to gain title over those school buildings that continue to remain in Church ownership. There are countless other instances of his remarkable efforts on our behalf.

There is something very special about this man. It is inspiring to know that there are those among us who can show us a window to timeless infinity.
